This week Fosters announced their new packaging rebrand. Design by Amsterdam agency Vbat.
The rebrand brings a new serif 'F' with a white outline. The packaging is seeing major changes. Based on silver and blue, it reflects the cool and refreshing taste of the beverage. Vbat has added a silver angled border to the top left of the can and box. This adds a slight premium touch to the design.
The aim of the rebrand is to show off more of the brand's Austrailian heritage and to make the packaging stand out on the shelves. According to consumer testing, the packaging does just that.
The new designs will hit stores around the world in April 2017.
